The house was perfectly located, just a short walk from the town center with great pubs and eateries nearby. It was also a great base to explore the wider Lake District. The spacious and comfortable house had a blend of original Georgian features like wooden floors and a staircase, and modern amenities like a fully equipped kitchen and a fabulous sauna. The hosts were attentive and provided lovely welcome gifts of wine, biscuits, and fruit.

Parking could be tricky as the area was busy, and finding a space could take some time. The central location meant there was some noise from the busy street.

This quirky accommodation in Ulverston is perfect for foreign tourists. The location is ideal for short walks to local pubs and restaurants, and there are also supermarkets nearby for groceries. The house itself is beautifully decorated with fantastic touches, such as an art deco room, a library, and a spa room with a sauna. The kitchen is well-equipped with every possible tool, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Fresh flowers are found throughout the house, creating a welcoming atmosphere. it's the best accommodation we've stayed in so far, with plenty of great features and a homey feel.
