As a tourist, I loved the easy access to Hadrian's Wall sites and the stunning dark sky. The staff were great and the food, especially the Sunday roast, was gorgeous. The pub atmosphere was nice and the included breakfast was good. The room had good amenities like cookies, tea, and hot chocolate. The bathroom was new and better than most, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the wall and with easy access to the bus AD122. Having a great bar and restaurant at the hotel was a big plus. it was a super quiet and enjoyable stay.

our recent stay in bardon mill was lovely, but the twice brewed inn completely surpassed our expectations on our honeymoon trip. the staff's genuine friendliness and helpfulness, along with the drying room for our wet clothes, made our walking experience along hadrian's wall even better. the restaurant had amazing food and our room was comfortable with everything we needed. we'll definitely be back.

If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend staying at this cozy inn. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, making you feel right at home. The food is delicious and served quickly, and the meat pie is simply beautiful. In terms of location, it's conveniently situated on the main road, making it a great base for exploring Hadrian's Wall and visiting Vindolanda. Additionally, the inn has its own brewery on site, so be sure to grab a 3 bottle gift set to enjoy later!

One small downside is the presence of an emergency exit light in the room. While it's understandable for safety reasons, it can be bothersome for those who are sensitive to light while sleeping.

The breakfast bar and cooked options were excellent, with a wonderful selection of fresh fruits like pineapple and melon. The pub and food in the evenings were delicious and filling. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful in many ways. Perfect location for history buffs, with easy access to Housesteads Fort, Vindolanda, Steel Rigg, and Sycamore Gap. Great for a walking holiday.

This hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices for both the rooms and the delicious meals served in the pub downstairs. The attention to detail is evident throughout, from the friendly and attentive staff to the well-equipped rooms. As a bonus for weary walkers, the rooms even have baths, perfect for soaking after a long day on the nearby Pennine Way. And the breakfast, served with beautiful views of the countryside, is a great way to start the day, with generous portions and excellent coffee.

We had a great time during our stay in this lovely inn that is conveniently located near Hadrian's Wall. Our room was clean and cozy, and we even got complimentary homemade biscuits as a treat! the Sunday roast was fantastic, and my partner enjoyed the local beer. the pub atmosphere was great, and we loved spending time in the beer garden with the free view over the fields.

We had some issues with the noise coming from the bar during the night. the walls were thin, and we could hear our neighbors clearly.
