ty castell guest house was a perfect base for exploring caerphilly and the castle. private parking and friendly owner made our stay even better. great suggestions for the rest of our trip. loved it!

We got excellent value for our money at Ty Castell Guest House. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed including a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The location was great, with easy access to the town center and walking distance to the castle. The host, Steve, was friendly and accommodating, going out of his way to ensure our comfort in the summer heat.

The breakfast menu could have included more vegetarian options.

He gave us a thorough tour of the rooms and explained everything we needed to know. the rooms were spotless and the beds were super comfortable. the location was great, just a short walk away from the castle and plenty of dining options. One of the best aspects was the delicious breakfast served in the morning. a fantastic experience.

The owner, Steve, was amazing - incredibly kind and helpful. He made sure our room was always super clean and tidy, even freshening it up multiple times throughout our stay. Steve was also attentive to our needs, providing us with plenty of water and fresh towels. He went above and beyond to assist us, offering restaurant recommendations and helping us book a taxi. When we needed an iron and board, he promptly provided it. The location of the hotel was great, just a couple of blocks away from pubs, restaurants, the train station, and the stunning castle. Very close to the railway station as well.

The family room was spacious and beautifully refurbished, with stunning views of the countryside from the rooftop. The host, Steve, was exceptionally attentive and made sure all our needs were met without being intrusive. The breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed a lovely chat with Steve, who shared interesting insights about the area. our experience was top-notch and we highly recommend this hotel.

The guest house is conveniently located close to everything we needed. It is just a 5 minute walk from the train station, making it easy for us to explore the area. Just an overnight stay while visiting family. Close to town center, parking available, and a welcoming host. The room was perfect, with comfy beds, toiletries, and tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast had a great choice and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Strongly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was so close to the train station, which made it really convenient to get to Cardiff city centre in less than 20 minutes. It was also near to the centre and the castle, allowing us easy access to everything in Caerphilly. Our room was clean and comfortable, with all necessary amenities. The breakfast served at the hotel was fabulous, with a wide range of choices. We also enjoyed the fantastic views from our room.

Although the room was comfortable, it was a bit simple and dated compared to our expectations.

The owner, Steve, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, allowing me to check in early for a wedding. He even helped me with finding taxi numbers. the guest house itself was very clean and had wheelchair access, which was great. the location was perfect for me as it was within walking distance to the center and the train station.

Everything was fantastic, from the clean and comfortable room to the delicious smelling breakfast. I had a great night's sleep and the off-road parking was an added bonus.
