my recent stay in cardiff was made even better by my experience at ty mynydd lodge. the host was incredibly helpful in meeting my dietary needs and the check-in service was friendly and efficient. the accommodation itself was superb, with lots of added extras and easy parking. highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Bathroom layout was a bit inconvenient.

The location of this holiday home is incredibly convenient, situated on the edge of the city. The car space provided is also a great bonus, ensuring easy access and convenience. The accommodation itself is well laid out, with sofas that easily convert to beds for additional sleeping arrangements. The host Lisa is extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring a warm welcome and providing helpful pointers about the area. The breakfast selection is impressive, offering a wide range of options to suit every taste.

It would have been nice to have additional options for bedding such as thinner duvets or complementary blankets, especially during changing seasons.

We had an amazing value for our money at Ty Mynydd Lodge Holiday Home. The room was clean, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. The location was quiet and easy to find, with good transport links. The staff, especially Lisa, were friendly, accommodating, and made us feel right at home.

We stayed one night before visiting Bike Park Wales in Merthyr and we're able to store our bikes securely inside over night. The property was lovely and homely, with a nicely stocked kitchenette. Lisa the host was a delight and cooked up a mean Welsh breakfast in the morning too! The location is brilliantly situated just off the A470 with great access to Merthyr, the valleys, and Cardiff. There's even a great micro pub just a 10min walk away, next to the train station. Strongly recommend and we'll be back again!
