stayed here after lakeland trail, absolute gem. staff amazing, amazing view, huge bathroom, delicious food, excellent breakfast. wouldn't hesitate to come back, top class. regret not trying lemon drizzle gin!

The restaurant at the hotel had a lovely atmosphere, with more subtle lighting or some lit candles in the evening. The meals on Saturday night were cooked to perfection and the dining area inside was very nice. The rooms were recently done up, clean and tidy with comfortable beds. The staff were helpful and accommodating, providing recommendations for places to go and allowing dogs. Breakfast was tasty and there was a good variety of choices.

The hotel was not as dog-friendly as advertised, with limited accommodations for pets beyond allowing them in the hotel.

We stayed at Uplands Inn for one night and were impressed by the wonderful location with views over Morecambe Bay. The staff were lovely, making us feel very welcome, and the room was spacious and immaculate. The complimentary amenities, such as tea/coffee, bottles of water, and biscuits, were a nice touch. We also enjoyed a fantastic evening meal at the inn and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The cozy atmosphere and great music added to the overall experience. We look forward to visiting again.

This hotel is a hidden gem with stunning views over Morecombe Bay. The rooms are comfortable with all necessary facilities and a lovely view. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, making you feel right at home. The breakfast included is superb and sets you up for a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings.

had a fantastic time walking in hills, even better than our previous stay in cartmel. uplands inn really impressed us with their friendly staff, beautiful grounds, and comfortable rooms. can't wait to return!

The food and the view from the room were good. the staff were friendly but a bit forgetful at times. There was a nice garden to sit in and the nearby town was fun to explore.

The room was a bit small and outdated. the bed was uncomfortable and made it difficult to sleep.

The dining room was also pleasant and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me and even my furry companion feel very welcome. I had a wonderful time at the Uplands Inn and would highly recommend it.

The view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking, especially during the sunsets over the Bay. the breakfasts were top-notch, with a great variety of options to choose from. the staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even offering us a late-night meal upon our delayed arrival. It was such a relief after a long day of travel. We also loved the fact that the hotel was within walking distance to nearby attractions, making it convenient for us to explore the area.
