The communication with the owner was excellent, and they were very accommodating, ensuring that all our needs were met. the facilities in the hut were impressive given its size.

While there was very little to dislike about our stay, if we had to be picky, we found that the cooking pans provided were quite large, making it a bit challenging when we wanted to heat something small like a tin of beans. It would have been convenient to have some smaller pans available.

We had an incredible stay at Upper Gilwern Quarry Hut. The hut itself was well-designed, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was thoughtfully planned, and we loved sitting by the little fountain. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views and the peacefulness we were craving. Despite the cold weather, the hut was warm and inviting. The owner, Emma, was extremely accommodating and made our stay even better. We can't wait to come back in the summer and explore the beautiful Welsh countryside. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.
