The hotel is in a great location with amazing views out to sea over Shanklin beach. It is especially near to the lift down to the beach and close to everything in the area. The rooms are freshly decorated in good taste, clean, and very comfortable. Some rooms even have balconies to enjoy the view. The staff provide excellent service and are very helpful. The breakfast service is generous and lovely in the conservatory.

There is only a small car park available, so parking may be limited.

The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and always ready for a chat. The views from the conservatory are simply phenomenal, and on Sunday mornings, we were treated to a live pianist playing during breakfast. It added a special touch to our stay. Another highlight was the summer house with the pool table, which my son and husband thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel's location near the beach and esplanade, accessible either through a lift or steps, is hard to beat. it's a great, relaxed place with breathtaking views and friendly staff.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the Shanklin sea. You can easily walk down to the beach and enjoy the beautiful views. The hotel is also conveniently located near the town centre, with great links to the rest of the island. The staff at this hotel are extremely friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to assist guests. The breakfast offered is adequate and there are also vegetarian sausages available. The rooms are comfortable and modern, with excellent showers and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel also boasts a lovely enclosed terrace with stunning views and a sun deck to relax on.

The room at Villa Mentone was absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and a spacious layout. We were particularly impressed with the large balcony that offered breathtaking views. The bathroom was also modern and clean, providing a great experience. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious, and we were grateful for the cook who went out of their way to accommodate our fussy eater son. The service provided by the staff was consistently helpful and friendly. we had a fantastic stay and would definitely choose to return to Villa Mentone.

I absolutely loved my stay at Villa Mentone! The views/location was spectacular, and the decor was classy yet cozy. The staff, especially Salma and Alan, were warm and friendly, making the service outstanding. Despite having a small room, the bath was fabulous and clean with a perfect temperature power shower. The outdoor seating area on the lawn was a great spot to relax, and the breakfast rooms were breathtaking. I will definitely go back with my husband. Thank you, Villa Mentone!

We loved starting our day with the delicious breakfast while enjoying the stunning view of the sea. the hotel's location was ideal for us as it was a short walk to the beach and close to the coastal path for exploring nearby towns.

The room was on the smaller side and could have been cleaner. However, this wasn't a major issue for us as we didn't spend much time in the room anyway.
