We stayed at the Village Inn for a couple of nights on our way up north. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the moment we checked in. The guy at the reception, with his tall, dark hair and purple tartan trousers, went out of his way to ensure a special birthday surprise for my husband. The restaurant staff were also kind, even singing happy birthday and adding a candle to his cheesecake. The location on Loch Long was breathtaking, and the hotel had a cozy and quaint atmosphere. The room was clean and spacious, with all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast options and the wide range of meals in the restaurant. a happy and welcoming establishment that we would definitely return to.

Immaculate and modern, the ensuite bathrooms come with toiletries and powerful showers. The hotel staff, like the friendly and helpful new manager, provide excellent service, ensuring guests feel well looked after. Furthermore, the restaurant serves delicious dinners in generous portions, and the included breakfast spread is extensive and delightful, with a friendly chef who cooks up a storm.

The prices of this hotel may not be justified, making it less value for money compared to other places visited during a Scotland tour.
