For the price we paid, the value at Violet Cottage was exceptional. The room was beautiful, clean, and had a cozy and quirky vibe. The location was stunning, with a huge back garden and plenty of local amenities nearby. The staff was wonderful, offering great communication and being helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Breakfast delights could use a bit of improvement, perhaps offering a wider variety of options.

We had an amazing time at this charming cottage, perfect for young people. The homely decor and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The spacious dining kitchen was great for family meals, and the enormous dog-friendly garden was a bonus. The location was idyllic, offering a slower pace of village life with plenty of things to do and see in the surrounding area. Plus, within an hour, we could be in the bustling center of Edinburgh!

Felt like a home away from home, no complaints at all.

I had an amazing stay at this cottage! The owners were so friendly and communicated well. The location was perfect, with plenty of local amenities nearby. The cottage itself was incredible, especially the master bedroom. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The large garden and nearby play park were a hit with the kids. The local pub had delicious food and a great atmosphere, and the convenience of a nearby shop was fantastic. The log burning fire added a cozy touch on rainy days. it was an amazing stay!
