Just returned from a wonderful stay at Vulcan Lodge Cottages. Spacious and airy, with unique layout and steps leading to different areas. Surprisingly quiet despite being on the main road. The bed was absolutely amazing, the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Excellent location for exploring the area, and a shop conveniently located next door. The river walk right behind the hotel was a peaceful retreat. Plenty of private parking and pet-friendly.

The location of the cottage was great, with plenty of nearby activities to enjoy. We stayed in a spacious cottage that accommodated our large group comfortably. The host was friendly and accommodating, providing us with a food hamper as an apology for the issue with the private hot tub. We appreciated being able to extend our stay and check out later.

The private hot tub was not working during our stay, and we were not informed until our second night. there was a minor inconvenience with having to check in on Facebook every time we wanted to use the wifi.
