We recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet area next to the river. We loved that it was located above a lovely pub, where we could enjoy delicious meals and a wide range of drinks. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, they were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room amenities were excellent, including ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. We also appreciated the flat-screen TV and the comfortable carpeted floor. The dining restaurant and bar/lounge area were great places to relax and unwind. The breakfast served at this hotel was outstanding, with plenty of options to choose from. we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The hotel provided a cozy and welcoming atmosphere which was great for a Christmas break. the staff was friendly and always willing to assist with any requests. We loved the fact that there was a pub inside the hotel, which made it very convenient for dining. the hotel was situated near the river, providing a beautiful environment to unwind.

Our room was a bit smaller than expected but it was still manageable. our room overlooked the roof where the cooling fans had outlets, which created noise especially early in the morning, which was a little bit disturbing.

We had a fantastic Christmas Day at Wagon & Horses. The food was amazing, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. The modern and lovely surroundings added to the overall experience. We can't wait to come back next year!

had a great time at wagon & horses in lancaster! staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. room was cozy with a fantastic river view. breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect for exploring the city. definitely coming back!

I had a delightful stay at a cozy inn with beautiful snowy views. The inclusive breakfasts were excellent, served by a friendly and informative host. The two evening meals I had at the inn were also great, with delicious food and a selection of beers. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the hotel provided a comfortable and adequate room. I would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

The location by the river was beautiful, and the staff were welcoming and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and stay past check-out. The room was comfortable with a lovely view, and the food and drinks were delicious. We enjoyed the well-kept real ales and the extensive gin list. a fantastic place to stay.

the bedroom was impeccably clean and well-equipped, and the staff at breakfast were friendly and efficient. Speaking of breakfast, it was absolutely first class! I couldn't fault it, from the perfectly cooked full English to the generous serving of porridge. the dinner choices were also varied, reasonably priced, and beautifully presented. the view of the River Lune from the room was an added bonus. I highly recommend the Wagon & Horses and plan to visit again in February, hopefully on a day when they offer evening meals.

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel! It's located away from the busy centre, but still within reach of the town centre. The best part is the gorgeous woodland area behind the hotel, which leads to the castle. The pub itself has a great atmosphere, with friendly and helpful staff. The dining area, although not separate from the bar, provides a cozy atmosphere. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options available.

The wardrobe space in the room was a bit limited.
