We had an incredible family getaway at Walnut Tree House. The location was perfect, giving us the chance to explore the charming village and enjoy walks to town and the local pub. The house itself was stunning, with beautiful tiled fireplaces that added to its historic charm. The top floor provided a cozy space for our family with two adults and two children, while the first floor offered spacious en suite rooms for our parents and other family members. The facilities were excellent, with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen that allowed us to self-cater if we wanted. The log fire and Christmas tree were lovely touches that made our stay even more special. The dining table that converts into a snooker table was a hit with our children. The hosts were welcoming and the mince pies and biscuits on arrival were a sweet gesture. Despite the small step down into the kitchen that we occasionally forgot about, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Walnut Tree House and would highly recommend it to others. this was a fantastic family getaway that exceeded our expectations.
