I was really happy with the value for money at The Washford Inn. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were amazing, always making sure I was happy. The location was spot on, right next to the West Somerset Railway, and the staff even helped me with parking for my motorbike.

The breakfast selection could use some improvement, especially the beans and bacon.

I stayed at The Washford Inn in Washford for two nights while visiting a friend. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even helping us secure a table during a busy dinner service. The rooms and restaurant were clean, and the location next to the train station made it convenient for exploring nearby towns. The breakfast selection was exceptional, and I appreciated being able to make hot drinks whenever I wanted.

We had an amazing stay at a hotel near a main road, with great access to the local villages and beautiful coast. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfy bed and thoughtful amenities like bottled water and toiletries. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious and satisfying. We loved being able to explore the nearby towns of Dunster and the picturesque village of Washford, which were just a short drive away. The hotel's location was perfect for us, as we enjoyed drinks at The White Horse and even went fossil hunting at Doniford Beach. this hotel exceeded our expectations and would definitely be at the top of our list for places to stay in the area.

The only drawback was the noise from the nearby road, as the windows were single-glazed and the blinds didn't provide much soundproofing.

They even escorted me to my room. the accommodation has been tastefully refurbished and is impeccably clean and comfortable. Room 5 had a fantastic shower with great water pressure and temperature controls that actually worked. the bar had a friendly atmosphere, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious and cooked to a high standard. the inn also offers plenty of parking and a lovely beer garden with views of the nearby steam railway line. I would definitely recommend this inn and would stay here again in the future.

We stopped off here for one night on the way to North Devon and it was an ideal location for us. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The fry up was lush! The hotel has a lot of character and lots of cute additions like board games and a table and chair in the hall with magazines. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The power shower was excellent and the car parking facility was great. The in-house food and drinks were also top-notch.

The food choices were reasonable and the prices were reasonable too. the man behind the bar was friendly and ordering was a pleasant experience. the location was ideal for visiting nearby attractions such as Watchet, Minehead, and the North Somerset and North Devon coasts.

The seating arrangement was cramped and uncomfortable, with barely enough space for people to pass through. the noise from the surrounding tables made conversation almost impossible.

We had a blast exploring the area as adventurous travelers. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and provided great recommendations.

The inn is also perfectly situated for any train enthusiasts, as it is right next to the Washford station on the West Somerset steam railway. The twin bedroom I stayed in was clean and comfortable, and the service provided by the staff was helpful and courteous. The breakfast served was tasty and satisfying. the inn provided a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The bar/lounge area was lacking in atmosphere, which made it less appealing for an evening hangout.
