I had a fantastic stay at Watermeadow Lakes & Lodges. The location was incredibly peaceful, allowing me to truly relax and unwind. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were attentive and provided excellent service. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and lived up to the mouth-watering pictures on the website. The lodge was also conveniently located, making it easy to explore both Somerset and Dorset. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as slow internet and limited mugs in the cupboard, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Watermeadow Lakes & Lodges. I highly recommend this lovely lodge for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

The location of the lodge was peaceful and secluded, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. The lodge was clean and comfortable, with modern facilities and a beautiful view of the lake. there was a lovely farm shop nearby with delicious local produce and facilities for barbecuing.

The lack of privacy between the lodges and the hot tubs was a minor inconvenience.

loved the peace and tranquillity at this lodge, felt beautifully remote but easily accessible. Spotlessly clean and comfortable lodges with a well-equipped kitchen. Enjoyed al fresco meals overlooking the lake and the option for a barbecue in the garden. Kids had a blast in the secure garden and loved having ducks join us for breakfast.

We booked Heron Lodge about 45 mins before we were due to arrive when on a whim after a day trip decided to stay in the area which was so beautiful. The lodge is right in front of a beautiful lake, amazingly cozy inside and incredibly tranquil. We’d just been on a road trip around Europe for 5 months and it was one of our most relaxing stays we had! Would love to come back in snow or summer!

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic night at Watermeadow Lakes & Lodges, staying in Heron Lodge. The lodge was immaculate and very spacious, with a lovely view of the lake. It was equipped with everything we needed, including a hot tub and great WiFi. We enjoyed a hot and powerful shower, and the tranquillity of the surroundings made for a wonderfully relaxing stay. The lodge is located in a beautiful area, with easy access to the village and the Jurassic Coast. We would love to come back in the future and experience it in different seasons.
