I had such a great experience at this hostel. The value for money was excellent, and my room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect - it was quiet, but still within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The food for breakfast could have had more variety and options.

Great location, close to the train and bus stations, as well as the town center. Also, within walking distance to a supermarket. The rooms were clean and comfortable with en-suite bathrooms. I really appreciated having lockers for my valuables and USB charging points for each bed.

The kitchen could have been better equipped. Although it had the basics, it was lacking some utensils and cookware.

We had a fantastic stay at a beautiful, modern hostel called Wayfarers Independent. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The dorms were spacious and comfortable, with ensuite shower/toilet rooms. A highlight was the convenient bike store in the basement, complete with a drying room. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center and a bike shop. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. The hostel had great facilities overall, and we appreciated the free tea and coffee.

The rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are all clean and well-equipped, with everything in perfect, spotless condition. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, offering helpful advice on where to eat and drink. The bike storage is secure, and there is a drying room available. The hostel also offers free tea and coffee, powerful showers, and USB bed chargers for phones.

The Wi-Fi signal was weak and could not be used effectively in both the bedroom and kitchen areas.

The staff went above and beyond to help us when our car battery died, even though it made them late for their own event. The room was immaculately clean and the location was perfect. The property was well-maintained and clean with fantastic facilities for cyclists, including ample parking and secure bike storage. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and had hot showers. USB ports on bunk beds were a bonus. The location was convenient near the railway and bus stations.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The attic double room was clean, tidy, and had a modern comfortable feel. The WiFi connection was excellent, thanks to the WiFi extender in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the shared kitchen was well-specified and maintained. it was a clean, welcoming, and comfortable experience. We especially appreciated the easy check-in process and the mega comfy bed. Leaving the key in a basket when we had to leave early for the Macmillan hike was also convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

The only slight downside was the lack of a blind for the Velux window in the attic room.

For the price, Wayfarers Independent was an absolute steal. The room was clean, modern, and the beds were super comfy. The location was spot on, just a short distance from the M6, making it easy to explore the western Lake District. The staff were friendly and always ready to help.

Breakfast items could use some improvement, maybe adding a few more options would be nice.
