We stayed at this lovely cottage for our wedding and it was the perfect retreat. The location next to the open forest was fantastic and the cottage itself was cozy and well-planned. The kitchen was spotless and well-stocked, and the bed was super comfy. We loved the wood burner and the miniature seat bath. Our host, Tana, was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the start. The fairy lights in the trees at night added a magical touch. it was a wonderful and homely stay.

We stayed at this cosy and stylish cottage for our wedding day. Tana, the host, was incredibly accommodating and the breakfast the next morning was exemplary. The location is perfect for de-stressing and enjoying quiet walks with our dog. The owners were friendly and gave us great tips for exploring the area. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and well-equipped. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hidden gem.

We had a delightful stay at this charming cottage. The central location allowed us easy access to various walking and cycling spots. The accommodation was comfortable with a cosy fire and a well-equipped kitchen. The host was friendly and even provided thoughtful touches like a bottle of prosecco and milk. The private bathroom was clean and the beds were super comfy. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful view of the ponies on the heathland.

The tiling around the bath and shower could use a bit of maintenance.

Wow. What a beautiful little holiday cottage in just the most beautiful place. I really can't fault it, it had everything you needed and more. Set in a little village a mile outside the New Forest, you step out of the front door and you're in open forest land for as far as the eye can see. It was a perfect place to base ourselves for our long walks which went through the forest and along the very quiet roads. The cottage itself has a small sitting area with a fantastically comfortable four poster bed next to it. There's a small kitchen with everything you could need to prepare a whole family meal. it's very clean and tidy and a perfect place to stay. The host was so welcoming and friendly, and the local pub just up the road was a real gem.

The surrounding trees lit up with fairy lights at night, creating a magical atmosphere.

The pillows were a bit tired and not very supportive.

The location was quiet and pretty, making it a great base for exploring the nearby towns and villages. The complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and prosecco were a nice touch that added to the overall experience.

The lack of a small fence to secure the dog away from the owner's property made it difficult for us to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. This was a minor inconvenience that could have improved our stay.
