West End Lodge was a great find! The hotel is tucked away in a picturesque area, with a lovely sitting area where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with very comfortable beds and an amazing size bath. The attention to detail by the landlady is impressive, especially the freshly cooked breakfast with a lovely fruit salad. The hotel's location is also convenient, within walking distance of the local pub and with excellent links to other restaurants and attractions. A fantastic value for money stay!

We had a wonderful stay at a quiet, clean lodge run by a friendly host. the furnishings, with their antique charm, added to the overall appeal of the place. Our spacious room had large windows with beautiful drapery, and the linens were of high quality. the full English breakfast was thoughtfully put together and satisfying. the location in a safe neighborhood with nice sidewalks allowed us to take enjoyable strolls. We also enjoyed the nearby Prince of Wales pub, which had friendly people and pets, as well as tasty food and drinks.

The lodge is decorated with interesting antiques and located in a beautiful and quiet area. Convenient parking and free Wi-Fi. Loved the outdoor dining area and flat-screen TV. The mini fridge with complimentary drinks was a nice touch. Can't wait to visit again!

As young travelers, we absolutely loved the homely atmosphere and warm welcome from Edwina, the host. She even let us store our bags and borrow a power adapter. Stayed here for Easter and couldn't have asked for a better experience. the location was superb- close to many attractions and easy to get around. the breakfast was amazing, with a variety of options to choose from. the rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. the garden was a beautiful and tranquil setting, perfect for relaxation.

It was a bit difficult to find parking around the hotel, but that wasn't a big issue as we managed to find a spot eventually. the decor in the rooms could have been more modern, but it added to the charm of the hotel.
