I recently stayed at West Wood Yurts for a weekend getaway and it was absolutely breathtaking. The location and views were stunning, and the pods themselves were cozy and well-equipped. The hot tub was a luxurious bonus, although it did take some time to heat up. The owner was friendly and always available to assist. I was also pleasantly surprised by the beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere, with a charming farm nearby.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

I had a great weekend getaway at this glamping site. The yurts were spacious, cosy, and well equipped. The wood burning stove provided a lot of heat, and the two burner gas rings outside were convenient for cooking. The bathroom facilities were clean, and the showers had good water pressure. The location was peaceful, with beautiful views of the surrounding woods. The staff were friendly and helpful. it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

The lack of lighting outside during the winter months made it difficult to navigate at night.

We had a fantastic stay at this peaceful and clean location. The pod was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The staff were excellent, sorting out an issue with the shower instantly. The views were exceptional, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby woods and Gibside.
