During our motorbike trip in the lakes, we found the location of the hotel to be ideal. It was conveniently close to the golf course where we enjoyed a round of golf and also near the Roman museum in Maryport, which was a fascinating visit. The hotel was situated in the area we needed, making it convenient for us to explore the surroundings. The room had comfortable and clean beds, while the breakfast offered a variety of options to start our day.

We did notice that some parts of the hotel looked tired and in need of refurbishment.

I recently stayed at a great family hotel located at the northern edge of the beautiful Lake District. The staff at this hotel, Hall, were absolutely brilliant - friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. The breakfast options were decent, with delicious hot choices, although I would have liked to see some fresh fruit. The hotel also had a nice little play area outside, which was perfect for my daughter who's nearly 9. The evening restaurant menu had hearty choices and the food was very enjoyable. It's clear that this hotel is popular with locals, particularly for dinner. The girl who booked us in was extremely friendly and made sure to check if everything was okay. I had a wonderful experience at this super little friendly family hotel.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel located near Wigton and the beautiful coastal town of Silloth. The peaceful surroundings and convenient location made it easy for me to explore Northern Cumbria and The Lakes.

Although the bar area had a rather peculiar setup, I couldn't help but appreciate the friendly and helpful staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort during my stay.

Spent Christmas at this hotel and there were some highlights. We took advantage of the nearby walking trails and explored the beautiful scenery. the staff was really welcoming and made us feel at home. We particularly appreciated the fact that they provided us with a complimentary hot drink on arrival. the room was spacious and beds were comfortable which ensured that we got a good night sleep.

We were not impressed with the food. Although there was plenty of it, the quality and taste were not up to par.
