The hosts were amazing! the property's remote location was a perfect chance for me to practice driving stick. As for downsides, not much really, just that it's a bit remote from the main lake areas, so expect longer drives to places like Windermere or Ambleside, but totally worth it! 🌟

We had a wonderful stay at Whicham Hall for two nights. Megan, our fantastic host, was welcoming and helpful throughout. The room had great facilities, beautiful views, and an amazing bath. As avid bike riders, we loved the convenient location of Whicham Hall. It was easy to explore the surrounding areas such as Millom and St Bees/Whitehaven, making our cycling adventures a breeze.

Felt very secure, had absolutely no complaints during our stay.
