The staff are friendly and attentive, providing a great service with attention to detail. The rooms are cozy and have nice touches, like windows looking out onto adjacent properties and even a mirror in the bedroom. The renovated bathrooms are spacious and offer a great view. Plus, the included breakfast at 10.15am is a delicious treat, with quality ingredients and a focus on fine quality local ingredients.

There were a few maintenance issues that could be improved, such as a bathroom door that stuck and a shower that had temperature fluctuations.

Uncomfortable room, emergency exit light issue.

I recently stayed at the charming White Horse & Griffin in a lovely room with a well-fitted en suite. The original features, such as the panelling and fireplace, added character to the space. The bed was comfortable and the shower, although I struggled with the temperature, was excellent. The warm welcome and explanation of facilities was a nice touch, as was the complimentary milk in a little flask. The made-to-order breakfast, including a delicious full English, was a great start to the day. The location, bar, dining room, and staff were all fantastic.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location of this B&B is fantastic, being super close to the harbour and right in the town centre. The room was comfortable and had a good size, perfect for a low-budget traveler like me. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious, especially the full English breakfast and porridge. The history of the place added a unique touch to the stay. The B&B is also dog-friendly, which is a bonus for pet owners.

The car park at the B&B came at an extra cost of £9.00 for 24 hours.

Lovely and clean room with unique and quirky decor. the bar staff were delightful and offered a wide selection of fabulous gin. the evening meal had a fantastic choice and was particularly great for vegetarians. the staff were excellent throughout the stay and helped make our short trip a success.

The service and food quality have gone downhill compared to previous visits. the broccoli was undercooked, mains were incorrect, mashed potato was cold, and roast potatoes were not properly roasted.

Great vegan breakfast options, amazing location right in the heart of town and a cozy room with lovely thick curtains and carpeting. the staff were very warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable about the local area. the bed was super comfortable and made for a great night's sleep.

That the room was a bit small and there were a lot of stairs to climb which might be a problem for some people. there was only one hand towel provided and no decaf tea in the room which was a little disappointing.
