The hotel had a convenient car park and friendly, cooperative staff. a great value for the price.

The noise levels from other guests were a bit disruptive at times. It would be advisable to bring earplugs.

Helpful staff, clean and warm room, good breakfast, convenient location for buses. Peaceful village setting with a handy shop. Special touches like decaf tea in the room and sound-off TV during breakfast. Comfy and spacious bedrooms, lovely breakfast service. Would stay again if in the area.

We had a fantastic weekend at this hotel! the service was top-notch, with a warm welcome from the friendly landlord and landlady. the room, although a bit small, was incredibly clean and comfortable. Plus, the in-room hospitality tray with tea, coffee, biscuits, and bottled water was a nice touch. the location was ideal, with shops just across the street and a decent-sized car park. And the food. oh boy, the food was excellent! Limited menu, but the pub food was done extremely well and at a great price. We enjoyed delicious meals for breakfast and dinner, with tasty options for vegetarians too.

A minor detail. When we first arrived, the exterior of the pub looked a bit rough, but as soon as we stepped inside, our initial impression completely changed.
