The cottage was immaculate and perfect for a getaway. The heating was turned on before our arrival, creating a cosy atmosphere. We highly recommend this place.

I recently stayed at a lovely cottage in Co Durham called White House Cottages. The host, John, warmly welcomed us and even provided a delicious lemon drizzle cake made by his wife. The newly refurbished house had a high standard of finishings, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. It was a great place to stay and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for both visiting Durham City Center and exploring Beamish. I will definitely be staying here again.

The location of the cottage was fantastic, situated in a lovely village with great views of the surrounding area. The bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The kitchen, although small, was usable and had basic supplies like tea and coffee. It was also convenient to have car parking right outside the door.

The sofa in the cottage was not very comfortable and had stains on the arms.

The holiday home was well-equipped with a full set of kitchenware, free milk, and a nice coffee machine with plenty of pods. The dining room had an open plan kitchen, a dining table, chairs, and a sofa set. The bedroom had a TV, and there was also a TV in the dining room. The host was friendly and accommodating, and the location was convenient with easy access to transport routes.

The views from the property were not great, as there was a ramshackle shed in the owner's garden and a building site next door.

A great place to stay! Really quiet and comfortable with excellent bus links to Durham. Only a short distance from the city centre, it was quick and affordable to get a cab back. Highly recommend the pub opposite for delicious food. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing break, and the owner was friendly and helpful. The location, cleanliness, and beautiful views made it an ideal choice.

Great find in Brandon, Durham. Delicious cake on arrival, late check-in available. Farmhouse feel, ample parking, and nearby traditional pub and Sainsbury's. Modern, clean cottage, fully equipped kitchen. Welcoming hosts. Can't wait to return.
