romantic stay, best hosts ever, wonderful holiday. defintely going back!!

Slight redecoration needed.

We had a fantastic New Year's stay! The landlady was really friendly and gave us great tips about the local area. The room was clean, warm, and well-equipped with a microwave, fridge. The best part was the location - it was a short walk to the beach and there was a bus stop nearby for trips to a nearby town. We also loved the lovely gardens and had a great time relaxing in the summer house.

That the room had a slight damp smell, but that was understandable as it didn't get much sun. all the facilities were great and the hosts were very accommodating.

We loved the warm welcome from Ann who gave us all the information we needed about the room and places to visit. The Heartbeat, Country book provided us with great recommendations for 5 days of exploring by car. The countryside and surrounding villages were a pleasure to visit. The location overlooking the bay and hills was fabulous, perfect for walks along the Cleavden way. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a small en suite shower room. The parking space provided was a bonus. The studio had bags of character and the huge bay window was perfect for breakfast with stunning views. The secluded garden and summer house were great for relaxing and enjoying the views.

We had a delightful stay at White Owl in a comfortable ground floor apartment. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making our dogs feel right at home. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've slept on during our travels, and the summer house with its stunning sea view was simply amazing. Excellent communication beforehand and convenient on-site parking were added bonuses. We will definitely be returning.

the property was warm, cosy, and well-equipped, making it the perfect place to stay. the hosts, Mr and Mrs Higgins, were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. They even had a summer house in the garden, which was a great bonus. the location was also excellent, with a regular bus service to nearby Scarborough and Whitby. I couldn't recommend this place enough, and I can't wait to go back!

We had a fantastic value for our money at White Owl Holiday Apartments. The room was clean, warm, and cozy, providing a peaceful night's sleep. The location was fabulous, overlooking the bay and hills, perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside and nearby seaside towns. The staff, especially the lovely landlady Ann, provided excellent old-fashioned hospitality and were always available to assist us. We also enjoyed the charming gardens and the summer house with its stunning sea views. Plus, the on-site parking was a great bonus.

I recently stayed at White Owl with my dog for a short break. The ground floor apartment was quirky and comfortable, with everything we needed. The on-site parking was a bonus, and the owner, Ann, was very welcoming and helpful. The location at the top of the village was perfect for walks along the Cleveland Way and the old railway tracks. The accommodation was warm and cosy, and the summer house in the garden was an added bonus. The place was spotlessly clean and had a lovely old-fashioned hospitality feel.

The location of White Owl Holiday Apartments was perfect for us. We were able to explore the area easily with the bus stop conveniently located across the road. The apartment itself was cosy and well-equipped, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable self-catered stay. We especially enjoyed sitting in the window of the garden room, indulging in breakfast and pre-dinner drinks while taking in the lovely view. Having parking on-site was also a great advantage. we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend White Owl Holiday Apartments.

Drawbacks: Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we did find the hill in Robin Hood's Bay quite exhausting to climb. However, this is part of the charm of the area and something that can't be changed.
