I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. They made me feel welcome from the moment I checked in. The food served in the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. The room, although a bit small, had a spacious built-in wardrobe and a very comfortable bed. The sheets were of high quality and I loved them. The hotel was clean and well-decorated, and the breakfast options were plentiful and freshly cooked. this hotel provided great value for money and I would definitely recommend it.

Ample parking space, comfortable restaurant to dine in. Sufficient room with comfy bed and private ensuite. Friendly atmosphere in the bar with special deals. pleasant and affordable experience.

We stumbled upon this great little find, just a short drive from York. the atmosphere at this charming pub is delightful, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Our room was warm, comfortable, and boasted a huge bed. We appreciated the tea and coffee provided, as well as the TV and toiletries. After a long day, we enjoyed a few drinks at the bar before indulging in a delicious cooked-to-order full English breakfast. This quiet pub/country inn was perfect for our needs, and we would definitely return.

This cozy pub is the perfect base to explore York, with buses running every 15 minutes right outside. The rooms are warm and comfortable, offering a good night's sleep. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. Plus, with a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast and excellent evening meals, you won't have to worry about going hungry.

The secondary double glazing on the windows doesn't effectively block out the traffic noise from outside.

The road noise was unbearable. We hardly slept with the constant traffic noise.
