The Dolly Blue restaurant, located on the outer wall of the hotel, offers a truly stunning view of the Lake District. The location of the hotel itself is in a very quiet area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The room was lovely, with a great view of the river. The bathroom was spotless and well-maintained. The service provided by the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the waiting staff were attentive. The spa facilities were a great addition to the stay, providing a relaxing experience for guests.

There were some areas in the hotel that needed cleaning, such as the windows.

whitewater hotel & spa in newby bridge surpassed my expectations. exceptional food, friendly staff, and top-notch facilities like the gym and pool made our stay faultless. the riverside view from our upgraded room and the comfortable four poster bed were definite highlights. dinner at the dolly blue bar was faultless too! overall, a truly enjoyable experience.

The swimming pool and jacuzzi were enjoyable, with friendly staff. We paid extra for a room upgrade and it was worth it, as the cheaper room was too small. the food in the restaurant was delicious, especially for dinner, and reasonably priced. the facilities, including the spa and pool area, were good. the location was great, with scenic walks nearby.

What a disappointment! the room was old-fashioned and not what we expected for the price we paid.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in a lovely area by the river. The hotel offered great value for money with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The rooms had lovely views and even a communal balcony where I could enjoy a few beers sitting in the sun. The basic amenities were provided, including separate showers, and the breakfast had decent portions with very nice views.

loved our summer stay at the riverside hotel, amazing views and comfy rooms. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and the evening meal was delicious. Short walk to a nearby motor museum and a lovely cafe for afternoon coffee and cake.

The prices at the main restaurant were steep, and the food choices on the menu were limited. However, there was an alternative option of going to the bar and grill for food, which was also located within the hotel.

our recent stay in newby bridge was simply amazing. this time we chose a different hotel and whitewater hotel & spa exceeded our expectations. the location was beautiful, with incredible views of river levens and the autumn colors of the trees. the room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. the staff were helpful and the restaurant was wonderful. definitely coming back!

I stayed at the Whitewater Hotel & Spa for the Lap running race and had a great experience. The staff were excellent and even provided a packed lunch for us to take with us on our early morning departure. The breakfast was excellent and the location on the edge of the Lake District was perfect for exploring without the crowds. The spa facilities were great and the view of the river from our room was so tranquil. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely return.

I recently stayed at a hotel that had a great location, with a bus stop right across the road. This made it convenient for me to explore the South Lakes or the coast. The Riverside restaurant had beautiful views and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The room I stayed in was clean and had a nice bathroom. The staff provided excellent service and were very friendly. The hotel also had good facilities, including a lovely pool with a sauna and steam room.

That the bar drinks were quite expensive.

We had a great Thanksgiving at this hotel. the surroundings were very beautiful and serene, with a river that added to the calm ambiance. the staff was extremely helpful and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the fact that the hotel had a pool area with a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, which was perfect for relaxing. the food was delicious, with lots of different options.
