The location of this guest house is unbeatable. It is right in the centre of town, making it convenient for exploring all the local sights and attractions. Plus, it is just a short walk away from the railway station, making it easy to catch a train into Edinburgh for a day trip.

The parking situation around the guest house can be a bit challenging. Due to parking restrictions in the area, guests may need to move their car between the road outside the property and a long-stay car park.

At the end of December, we spent Xmas at a cozy B&B in the heart of a charming historic town. We loved that the hosts went out of their way to cater to our special requests, including serving dishes that were not on the menu. The room was immaculate and spacious, with comfortable beddings, fantastic reading materials, and numerous TV channels to choose from. The location was perfect as we were able to easily explore the town's top attractions and indulge in the bustling local life. The town's local charm and jovial ambiance added to the overall pleasure of our Xmas stay.

Although we enjoyed our stay, we were slightly disappointed by the limited breakfast menu options compared to other B&Bs we've stayed in. due to the central location, there was a bit of early morning noise from the seagulls outside our window, but this was to be expected in such a lively town.
