We had such a lovely stay at Widbrook Barns. The property was well-maintained and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The owner, Dick, was very attentive and made sure that everything was perfect for our stay. The breakfasts were delicious and set us up for the day. We loved the little touches like having a kitchen available for guests to use. The location was also great, just a pleasant walk along the tow path to the town center where there were plenty of places to eat. we had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend this place.

Traveling in late autumn, I imagined the inn would be wonderful in the summer. The breakfast was a delightful highlight, and the hospitable staff made my stay even better. The well-kept facilities and spacious room with a comfortable bed, along with great temperature control, added to the positive experience. The lovely shower was an extra bonus.

The only downside, if I had to pick something, was that the room temperature was quite warm during the night. However, the hotel provided a good fan to help with the heat, although it did produce some noise that slightly affected my sleep.
