widows row cottage was the perfect choice for our recent stay in newcastle. the warm welcome, stunning views, and cozy coal fire made it a truly delightful experience. being within walking distance of shops and restaurants was an added bonus.

Fireplace ran out of coal on the first night.

Anne, the amazing host, made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The Easter eggs for our girls were a lovely surprise. The cottage itself was warm, cosy, and immaculate with breathtaking views of the sea. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed, and the fresh towels were a nice touch. Being able to bring our dog along made it feel like a true home from home. We can't wait to return and explore more of this stunning location.

Some guests experienced a temporary shortage of coal for the fireplace, but the central heating was efficient and kept the cottage warm.
