We had an amazing time at this luxurious hotel! The location was perfect, nestled into the hillside in a peaceful rural setting, yet still close to the attractions of the Southern Lakes. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, from the friendly receptionist to the attentive waiters in the restaurant. We even got a free room upgrade upon request! The room itself was well equipped with all the amenities we needed, including a comfortable bed, ironing facilities, and a flat-screen TV. The hotel also had great leisure facilities, such as a sauna and swimming pool, which added to our relaxation. the service, room, and facilities here were top-notch!

The breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. the hotel provides all the necessary facilities and advantages for a comfortable stay.

I recently stayed at The Wild Boar for a relaxing night away and couldn't have been happier. The hotel team were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The warm reception area, bar, and restaurant created a lovely atmosphere. The unexpected walk in the grounds to the tarn was a wonderful bonus, and the food served was generous and delicious. The Wild Boar seasonal ale was sensational, and the room was fantastic and comfortable. The grounds were amazing, with acres of woodland and marked trails to explore. The A-Z clue trail was a fun and unique experience. The DVD player in the room and selection of DVDs in reception were a nice touch. a fantastic stay!

The food at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. I had the alternative afternoon tea and it was delicious. The breakfast in the morning was also top-notch. The staff were very accommodating and took care of our request to move to a quieter room. The new room was much brighter and more peaceful. I had a wonderful visit and would recommend this hotel.

The room was lovely, clean and nicely decorated. The food was amazing, compliments to the chef. Plenty of acreage to exercise our dog. Beautiful grounds. Great staff, always happy to help. The beds were amazing, very comfortable. Fabulous breakfast with a great selection. Lovely open fire in the main area.
