We booked a stay at this hotel for a night before catching the ferry to Belfast. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was, considering we just wanted a no-frills place to sleep. The room was immaculately clean and had a lovely fresh smell. The bed linen, carpets, toilet, and bathroom were all spotless. The power shower in the bathroom was the best I've ever had in any hotel. The hotel also provided us with a code for the door and a code for the key lock of the room, which worked really well. The tea and coffee facilities were good, and the hotel's location with secure car parking was fantastic.

The decor was lovely, rooms were large, comfortable & very clean. Stylish, big bathrooms. Family-friendly setup with many beds. Great location for Cairnryan ferry crossing.

had a great stay in Stranraer, but Windsor House made it even better! The room was comfortable and newly renovated, with a stylish bathroom stocked with towels. The twin beds were extremely comfortable and we slept great. Easy walk to downtown and great price. Highly recommend!

the room was big, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with a stunning bathroom and a fabulous shower. Brian, the host, gave us a warm welcome and the check-out process was flawless. I highly recommend staying here for a wonderful experience. We plan to come back in the future.

We loved our stay at Windsor House. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. The room was very clean and spacious, with super comfy beds. The bathroom was modern and large. We also loved that the property was close to the town center, which had lots of interesting shops, attractions, and eateries. we will definitely recommend this hotel for a great stay.

the room was comfortable, with a nice shower and a comfortable bed. the host, Craig, was very helpful and accommodating. the location was excellent, close to a Lidl and not far from the train station. On-street parking was also convenient. a great stay with a good price and helpful staff.

there was no fridge in the room to store our own food. the lack of face clothes and basic toiletries like shampoo and conditioner was also a letdown.
