The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect, right by the main street, river, and castle. It was so convenient to explore and walk around the beautiful town of Windsor. The interior design of the hotel was stylish and the attention to detail was exceptional. The kitchen was well equipped, making it easy for us to cook and prepare meals.

The lack of communication with the owner. When we had questions about parking and the lockbox, we didn't receive any response.

Great location near Windsor Castle. Spacious and well-equipped accommodation with lovely bedrooms and en-suite toilets. Cool spiral staircase. Convenient key safe for easy check-in. Close to main street, river, and castle.

Immaculately presented and felt very homely. House was very clean and we loved the added touches of Netflix and Disney+ to keep children entertained. Very central location, park 2 minutes walk away was lovely for the children and lots of nice restaurants nearby - patch bar round the corner is recommended.

The stairs are not easy to negotiate, making access to bedrooms very difficult. Noise from the neighboring Arches early in the morning was disturbing.

We were impressed by the attention to detail and care taken to make Windsor Retreat a stylish and comfortable home away from home. The communication with the owners was excellent and they were accommodating to our requests. The location was perfect with only a short walk to Windsor. The property was spotlessly clean and well-equipped, making it easy for us to host an afternoon tea and supper. The beds and sofas were very comfy, and the shower facilities were good. It was also a bonus that two out of the three rooms had en-suite toilets and hand basins. We would definitely book again.

We felt safe walking at night and had no complaints at all.

amazing stay in windsor. celebrating our anniversary was made extra special by the retreat in shadow of the castle villa. perfect location, clean and spacious house with modern amenities. elvis, the caretaker, was super helpful. would definitely recommend to friends.
