As women traveling alone, we felt safe and the staff was always ready to assist us. The location is perfect for exploring the scenic Downs and the nearby cliffs in Seaford. The hotel itself is clean and the staff is pleasant, creating a friendly atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful gardens and terrace, as well as the option to have a room with a balcony. The communal facilities, such as the reading rooms and veranda, were well-appointed and added to the overall experience. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently close to Glyndebourne, making it ideal for attending performances.

the room I had was a deluxe double in the eaves, tastefully decorated with stunning views of the church and hills. It may have been small for the price, but it was incredibly comfortable. the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very helpful. the surrounding areas were absolutely beautiful, and I enjoyed taking walks to nearby Littlington for a meal at the Plough and Harrow. the food there was excellent, and the walk was worth it. I also had the opportunity to visit Seaford Head and South Hill Barns, where I was treated to incredible views of the famous Seven Sisters cliffs. I definitely plan on returning to this guest house when I visit again.

Wingrove House was a great value for the money and our room was lovely, with tasteful decor and a relaxing bath. The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, with beautiful surroundings and a lovely terrace to relax on. the room we stayed in was not only comfortable and attractive, but also well-equipped with everything we needed. the breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options to choose from.

There were a couple of disappointing aspects during our visit. the lunch menu was very limited and the food was not cooked to our liking.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The best aspects were the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms, the comfortable beds, the delicious breakfast with plenty of choices, and the friendly and helpful staff. The hotel facilities were great, and we particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden and terrace. The location was perfect, with easy access to the Seven Sisters and other nearby attractions. Parking was also convenient. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We spent New Year's at this hotel and there were a couple of things that we really appreciated. the views from our room were absolutely stunning. We could see the charming village and the beautiful church right from our window. the bathroom was top-notch. It had luxurious amenities and was clearly designed with a lot of care. we loved the fact that the hotel was located on the edge of the South Downs, allowing us to enjoy the picturesque countryside.

the service was a bit lacking. We tried to contact the front desk multiple times but couldn't reach anyone.
