Amazing stay

We had an incredible two-night stay at a charming hotel in an ideal location. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had no trouble finding parking. Despite the hotel being busy, the staff went above and beyond, providing brilliant service. The breakfast was lovely, and we enjoyed delicious dinners, especially the homemade pie, which was absolutely stunning. My son couldn't stop raving about the fudge cheesecake dessert, claiming it was the best thing he'd ever tasted. We would definitely recommend this hotel for an amazing stay.

This hotel is a real hidden treasure in the Loch Lomond area. The value for money is outstanding, with prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail is excellent, from the well-maintained rooms to the really comfortable beds and good-sized ensuite with balcony. The location is perfect, right in the centre of the village. The staff provide great service and the breakfast, with its perfectly cooked poached eggs, is included and served to perfection.

The food in the main bar was amazing, especially sitting beside the open fire. the rooms were clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

It lacked certain traditional Scottish items like Lorne sausage and beans. there was a occasional smell of sewage coming from the bathroom, which was quite off-putting.

We enjoyed our recent city trip and stayed at a hotel that offered complementary tea and coffee in the room and provided a selection of teas, which was lovely. the hotel was also situated in a great location, close to shops and restaurants with easy access to public transportation. Another advantage was the hotel's friendly and accommodating staff, who were always happy to assist us with our needs.

We found the breakfast service to be a bit slow and the quality of the sausages was not up to par. there was some noise disturbance at night from the surrounding area, which affected our sleep quality.

The history and atmosphere of the hotel were truly amazing. the building itself has so much character and you can really feel the sense of history as you walk through the corridors. the rooms were surprisingly modern and spacious, a pleasant surprise considering the age of the hotel. the breakfast was simply outstanding, with a wide variety of options to choose from, including haggis which I had never tried before but now I'm a big fan.

While the hotel had its charm, it could definitely use some freshening up. the interior looked tired and could benefit from some refurbishment.
