From the warm welcome with tea and biscuits to the spotless and comfortable accommodation, everything was perfect. The hosts, Steve and Lesley, were incredibly attentive and provided great recommendations for places to eat. The breakfast was superb, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. We felt incredibly well taken care of and couldn't ask for more. Thank you!

The owners were warm, welcoming and not intrusive. The Watersmeet room with balcony was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and a spotless wet room. The views were lovely and the sound of the river was so peaceful. We enjoyed exploring the river and even had a little dip in it. The breakfasts were amazing and there was so much to do in the area. We definitely want to come back.

The breakfast was fantastic with fresh fruits and generous portions. The hosts provided personal attention and the house had beautiful Art Deco decor. The location was peaceful and allowed for a break from technology.

We had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse. The location was perfect, nestled between Lynton and Lynmouth, with stunning walks and beautiful scenery on our doorstep. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities provided were excellent. We appreciated the convenience of the parking and the easy access to public transportation. Additionally, the breakfast served was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

A hidden gem in a stunning location! We had an amazing birthday retreat here. The hosts, Lesley and Steve, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even surprised the birthday girl with a delicious cake! The rooms were clean and cozy, with beautiful views. The breakfast had a great selection, catering to all dietary preferences. Highly recommended for any occasion!

The value for money at this guesthouse was excellent. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with nice toiletries. The location was beautiful, surrounded by a large wood with lovely walks, and the staff, Steve and Lesley, were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The breakfast menu could have had more variety.

This place was perfect, set amongst woodland and with a convenient path to take you down into town - barely 10 minutes away. The location allowed me to easily explore the local area, with several pubs and restaurants within walking distance. There were also some amazing walks in the surrounding area, providing stunning views and a chance to reconnect with nature.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We got great value for our money at Woodlands Guesthouse. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the forest. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the town and close to some stunning hikes in Exmoor National Park. The owners, Steve and Lesley, were fantastic hosts and made us feel at home.

The only suggestion I have for the breakfast menu is to consider adding red wine to the mini bar. But this is just a small feedback, everything else was perfect.
