We had a fantastic stay at this property. The place was very clean and well-maintained. The location was great, especially for those following the Trans Cambrian Way trail. The bed was incredibly comfortable with clean linen. The self-catering facilities were good and allowed us to cook our own meals. The owners were extremely accommodating and even went out of their way to buy groceries for us. We also appreciated the secure storage for our bikes.

I recently stayed at a B&B in a remote hamlet with stunning views. The location was perfect, right off Glyndwr's way. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the shared living space was spacious and well-maintained. It was great to have a big communal kitchen and dining area. The property was also pet-friendly, which was a huge bonus for us. I had a lovely time at Y Star and would recommend it.

The property was incredibly clean and tidy, and the location was mind-blowingly great. The free wi-fi was super fast and reliable, and the bed was so comfortable, although it would have been even better with more pillows. The peaceful surroundings made for a jaw-droppingly quiet stay, and the TV had an amazing selection of channels. The communal space was impressively clean and well-maintained. Plus, the fact that we could bring our dog along was a real bonus. The communication about check-in was excellent, and although it was a shame the restaurant wasn't there anymore, the self-catering facilities were top-notch. The location was perfect for our hiking adventure, and the Owners even went the extra mile to stock the kitchen for us. The bathroom was large and had a great shower, and the bedding was fresh and clean. Even though I didn't use the kitchen, it looked super well-equipped and clean.

The location of the hotel is lovely, with a peaceful setting and beautiful surroundings. Guests can enjoy the tranquility and quietness of the area, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. the communal kitchen and lounge area provide ample space for guests to socialize and meet fellow travelers, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Despite the positive aspects of the hotel, there was a lack of basic amenities such as bedside lamps and black-out curtains. This resulted in a less comfortable sleeping experience and difficulty in getting a good night's rest.
