We stayed at Ye Spotted Dogge for one night during our romantic trip. The hotel's historic charm mixed with modern amenities made it truly special. Ian, the owner, gave us a fascinating tour, showcasing the restoration work. The bar had a great atmosphere and the location was perfect, close to the Cathedral. Our room was beautifully presented with a view over the High St. The continental breakfast was immaculate, served in an amazing dining room. The recently refurbished interior design and the sunny courtyard garden were delightful. A relaxing break with friendly service.

We recently stayed at an amazing hotel in Old Portsmouth called Ye Spotted Dogge. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Alex and shown to our room, which was the Oak Room. the traditional decor with oak beams and a comfortable bed created a cozy atmosphere. the modern and spacious bathroom was perfect. We also enjoyed relaxing in the quiet courtyard garden. the continental breakfast served in the dining room was fresh and had a great variety. Ian, the owner, provided excellent service and even shared some interesting history about the building. we couldn't have been happier with our choice and will definitely return.
