My recent stay at Yew Tree Cottage was fantastic. The property was warm, clean, and exactly as described. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Lake District. The beds were comfy, and having two bathrooms was a bonus. The lounge and dining room were well furnished, and the kitchen had everything I needed, including a dishwasher. The central heating kept me cozy even on snowy days. I also loved having two parking spaces and the lower garden for my little Dachshund to enjoy.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as towels smelling a bit and a miscommunication about the check-in time, I still had a great experience overall. The cleaning fee was a bit confusing since I had to remove the bed sheets, duvet covers, and pillow covers myself, as well as throw the rubbish bags in the wheelie bins outside.
