We had an incredible experience at YHA Boggle Hole! The pirate themed old mill building added a unique and exciting twist to our stay. The atmosphere was rustic and quaint, creating a cozy and inviting vibe. The building is located in a remote and stunning location, right by the Cleveland Way. The private beach was a definite highlight, and we loved how it opened up to a sprawling beach at low tide. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the quiz sheets provided endless entertainment for the kids. it was a delightful and memorable stay, and we can't wait to return for a longer visit.

In an idyllic location, we loved walking down to the hostel and enjoyed the stunning views. It was perfect for beach trips and exploring Robin Hood's Bay. The cleanliness of the facilities was superb and the hotel had all the necessary amenities we needed. The friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, with spotless toilets and showers close to the rooms. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a fab communal kitchen and a variety of different trails for kids to enjoy. The location was absolutely breathtaking, situated in a small cove right on the beach. The views up the coast to Robin Hoods Bay and down to Ravenscar were stunning. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The location at Yha Boggle Hole was fantastic, with a great breakfast selection. the breakfast area had a lovely light and fresh decoration. the trail and treasure hunt provided entertainment for my 7-year-old, who enjoyed finding the clues. the bananas and hobbits added a fun touch to the experience. it was a well-thought-out and enjoyable stay.

After a long and wet walk along the Cleveland Way, we stumbled upon a welcoming cafe with a cozy log burner at Yha Boggle Hole. The friendly staff made us feel right at home, and we enjoyed delicious cake and hot beverages while drying off. It was truly a sanctuary in a beautiful location. I highly recommend this hotel for its warm atmosphere and friendly service.

the location is absolutely stunning. Situated in a narrow wooded cove, directly on the beach, it provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The attention to detail in the hotel's design is also worth mentioning. From the salvaged lighting in the bar to the rope handrails, everything had been carefully thought out and added to the overall charm of the place. Additionally, the staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that my needs were met throughout my stay. The rooms were comfortable, with a double bed and a bunk above, and the hot showers were a welcome treat after a long day of exploring. And let's not forget about the delicious breakfast! It was tasty, well-varied, and offered great value for money.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was really enjoyable.

The hostel at Robin Hoods Bay is perfect for those travelling by car. The staff are friendly, the decor is quirky, and the communal accommodation is comfortable. Getting in after hours is easy, and it's great to see school groups having adventures.

unfortunately, the room was cold and next to a toilet, which was not soundproof. We had issues with the food when we ordered dinner in the bar it was overcooked and the bread bun was over toasted, which was disappointing. However, the staff were helpful and quickly resolved the issue.

The location of the hostel was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and easy access to nearby walking paths. the atmosphere in the reception/bar area was warm and welcoming, with a cozy log burner and comfortable seating. the bedrooms were also comfortable, with new beds that provided a good night's sleep. the breakfast provided was tasty and the coffee was surprisingly drinkable.

The buildings were spread out over a hillside, which made navigating between them a bit of a challenge, especially in bad weather. the kitchen facilities were also lacking, with a limited number of microwaves and frequent power trips.

We recently stayed at a superbly run hostel in an atmospheric and dramatic location. When we arrived, the hostel reception doubled as a cozy and character-filled cafe and bar. We booked a single-sex dorm for the night, and although it was our only option, we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and quiet it was.

Lovely location, short walk from beach. Steep incline back to car park, potential issue for mobility challenged guests. Turning spot at bottom of hill for assistance. Friendly staff, great vibe, comfortable and cozy. Ideal location for exploring.
