We had an incredible experience at YHA Boggle Hole! The pirate themed old mill building added a unique and exciting twist to our stay. The atmosphere was rustic and quaint, creating a cozy and inviting vibe. The building is located in a remote and stunning location, right by the Cleveland Way. The private beach was a definite highlight, and we loved how it opened up to a sprawling beach at low tide. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the quiz sheets provided endless entertainment for the kids. it was a delightful and memorable stay, and we can't wait to return for a longer visit.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, with spotless toilets and showers close to the rooms. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a fab communal kitchen and a variety of different trails for kids to enjoy. The location was absolutely breathtaking, situated in a small cove right on the beach. The views up the coast to Robin Hoods Bay and down to Ravenscar were stunning. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable.

the location is absolutely stunning. Situated in a narrow wooded cove, directly on the beach, it provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The attention to detail in the hotel's design is also worth mentioning. From the salvaged lighting in the bar to the rope handrails, everything had been carefully thought out and added to the overall charm of the place. Additionally, the staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that my needs were met throughout my stay. The rooms were comfortable, with a double bed and a bunk above, and the hot showers were a welcome treat after a long day of exploring. And let's not forget about the delicious breakfast! It was tasty, well-varied, and offered great value for money.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was really enjoyable.

magical location and quirky decor. The staff were friendly and the communal kitchen had great facilities. We enjoyed the treasure hunts and activities offered for younger visitors. The amazing sea views were a great addition. The setting was perfect with the beach being just a short walk away.

unfortunately, the room was cold and next to a toilet, which was not soundproof. We had issues with the food when we ordered dinner in the bar it was overcooked and the bread bun was over toasted, which was disappointing. However, the staff were helpful and quickly resolved the issue.

The location of the hostel was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and easy access to nearby walking paths. the atmosphere in the reception/bar area was warm and welcoming, with a cozy log burner and comfortable seating. the bedrooms were also comfortable, with new beds that provided a good night's sleep. the breakfast provided was tasty and the coffee was surprisingly drinkable.

The buildings were spread out over a hillside, which made navigating between them a bit of a challenge, especially in bad weather. the kitchen facilities were also lacking, with a limited number of microwaves and frequent power trips.
