Impressive first time in a YHA hostel in a nature-filled location. Pleasant staff, delicious dinner and breakfast, clean and quiet. Recommended for families, friends, and couples looking for an affordable, quality stay.

The cleanliness was exceptional, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. Parking was convenient, and the location in the nearby villages was perfect, with easy access to transportation. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Nestled in a beautiful wooded area, the hostel offers a great view of the Monsal Trail. The location is perfect for nature lovers who want to be in direct touch with the outdoors. The flimsy walls of the caravan can make the stay a bit noisy, but the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it worth it. You can also enjoy decent meals at the nearby pub or head to the local pub where the locals are the friendliest.

Limited soundproofing in the caravan can be a drawback for those seeking a quieter atmosphere.

stayed at yha ravenstor in millers dale, and this time it was even better! stunning views, comfy beds, and clean showers made for a tranquil dream. the self-catering kitchen had everything we needed, and the Aussie man on reception gave us a warm welcome. a gem in idyllic surroundings!

We had a fantastic stay at a beautifully located hostel with stunning walks right on our doorstep. The staff at Ravenstor were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our first visit a memorable one. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the communal areas were great for relaxing. We particularly enjoyed the filter coffee in the mornings, giving us the perfect wake-up boost. The hostel also provided a drying room for wet clothes and boots, which was a convenient and much-appreciated feature. Yha Ravenstor offered excellent value for money and we can't wait to return.

I had a fantastic stay at this youth hostel! the building is impressive and the location is simply lovely. When we arrived in the evening, we were greeted by a cozy real fire. the staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture of finding a chair for my husband without even being asked. Our bedroom was a pleasant surprise with a comfortable double bed.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Yha Ravenstor. We were delighted by the helpful staff, who promptly addressed an issue with a bad smell in our room. They kindly moved us to a different room, ensuring my wife had a restful night's sleep. The location was perfect, and we appreciated the convenient water refilling station and the ability to dry our clothes on the radiators. The beds were comfy with lockers for storage, and the dining area was always clean and well-equipped. a great experience!

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, even upgrading me to a larger room at no extra cost. The hotel had a lovely building and gardens, with woodland surrounding it, making it the perfect location for nature lovers. As a hiker, I particularly enjoyed the proximity to walking trails, especially the Monsal trail and its fascinating tunnels. The hotel also had great facilities such as a water refilling station, radiators for drying clothes, and a TV in the dining room. The rooms were comfortable, with lockers, plenty of storage space, and even sinks and mirrors. this hotel provided excellent value for money.
