The house is a bit far from the city center, taking around 40-50 minutes to walk to the French Quarter. Walking back at night might not be recommended as the area can seem a little unsafe.

We had a great stay at Nola Vibes! The apartment was beautifully renovated and every room was incredibly spacious, except for the second bedroom. The location was convenient, close to all the places we wanted to go and within walking distance of many cafes and restaurants. Check-in and out were extremely easy, and the hosts were very thoughtful. The apartment was exactly as pictured and the hosts even provided snacks and bathrobes. we had a wonderful experience in this authentic neighborhood.

The back half of the apartment got much warmer than the front half, making it difficult to regulate the temperature. The AC vent in the second bedroom was located directly above the bunk beds, so we couldn't have the AC on at night.

Additionally, the courtyard was a relaxing space to unwind after a long day. the outdoor seating area was perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening.

One major drawback was the temperature control in the house. the thermostat seemed to be faulty, as it would reset to a higher temperature whenever I tried to lower it.
