Freda's hospitality was truly exceptional and warm.

Unfortunately, I found the room to be rather uncomfortable, especially the bed, which was topped with an overly thick foam padding that made sleeping difficult. Additionally, I heard disturbing scratching noises in the walls at night, which made me question the cleanliness and upkeep of the property. Overall, these issues significantly detracted from what I hoped would be a relaxing stay.

the bed was horrid, with a thick foam that woudl ve been better suited for a torture chamber. As if that wasn’t enough, I heard scratching in the walls—super inviting, really. I expected a complimentary treat upon arrival, given my obvious status, but I guess that’s too much to ask. Definitley won’t be back!

The breakfast was gourmet and truly outstanding prepared by a passionate host who made guests feel welcomed.

The cluttered areas made navigation tough, and rooms felt neglected, which detracted from the overall experience.

If you seek an extraordinary stay, look no further! The host creates a warm, welcoming environment and serves exceptional gourmet breakfasts. Cozy rooms and beautiful gardens enhance the experience. With helpful tips on local attractions, this place feels just like home. Truly an urban oasis worth returning to!

The location is perfect, just a half block from the free trolley taking you to the beach. The beautiful gardens provide a lovely retreat for the family, and the gourmet breakfasts are indulgent and delicious, making mornings something to look forward to. The host is incredibly knowledgeable about the best local shops and attractions, which we found invaluable during our stay.

However, some areas may benefit from a refresh, as certain rooms did not meet the expectations set by online photos. Great for a relaxing getaway, but be prepared for some quirks.

ok so this place is super cute and cozy! freda, the host, is like the sweetest person ever and her breakfast is to die for! i loved the homey vibe with all the cool knick knacks everywhere. the location is perf, you can walk to all the shops and the beach is super close! every morning came with delish fresh fruit and yummy pastries that made my day!

but it did feel a bit messy in some common areas and my room could’ve been cleaner too.

Freda's breakfasts were incredible, with generous servings and a variety of delicious options each morning. The location is fantastic for exploring all the best downtown shops and second-hand stores. It's just a short walk to the beach! 🌊
