The hot water was actually cold, and the shower functioned more like a garden hose. the shower door wouldn't shut properly, and there was visible mold above the shower.

Additionally, I noticed that the new management team is actively working towards improving the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel. It is evident that they are making strides in this area. My family and I stayed at the American Inn for a last-minute overnight trip. The front desk agent, who I believe was also the owner, greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. The room was impeccably clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip.

My family and I stayed here for a night on April 21 and we were pleasantly surprised. The front desk agent, who I believe was also the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were also happy to find a microwave and mini fridge in the room. The new ownership is doing an excellent job updating the rooms and it shows. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

I recently stayed at American Inn in Grover Beach for a weekend getaway. The location was fantastic, with plenty of nearby restaurants and a short 6-minute drive to the beach. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I especially loved the nice shower, even though the bathroom was a bit small. it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel.
