We loved the location of this hotel, right in the heart of Old Salem. We could easily walk to the historic tavern across the street and explore the charming streets of this 19th Century neighborhood. Additionally, the hotel was clean and well-maintained, with classy decor and comfortable rooms. The outdoor patio with rocking chairs was a nice touch, and we enjoyed the yummy breakfast prepared by the owner.

The Zevely Inn exceeded our expectations! Cherie, the innkeeper, was so warm and genuine. She went out of her way to accommodate my mom's mobility issues by moving us to a larger, more accessible room. The breakfast she served was delightful, and the room itself was clean and inviting. We felt like we made a new friend in Cherie, and we would definitely go back!

This hotel is perfect for exploring Old Salem, as it stays true to the Moravian culture which founded it. The hotel has been lovingly preserved and being there makes the Inn a worthwhile visit. The rooms are comfortable and impeccably furnished, with attention to detail. The staff provides great service and the basic amenities are all in place. The location is ideal for wandering Old Salem, with rocking chairs on the balcony not far from our room. And the breakfast always offered freshly cooked items, in addition to the more traditional options, all included in the price. The small touches, like the fresh baked cookies in the evenings, added to the overall experience.
