Great location, close to Free Trolley stop for easy transportation around town. Walking distance to main strip and South Beach. Lovely hot breakfast served daily. Fantastic staff. Nothing we didn't like.

We loved the convenient location of this hotel. It was situated on the quiet side of Duval Street but still within easy walking distance to all the action. We were also able to take advantage of the free bus transportation called the "duval loop" right next to the hotel. The breakfast offered a nice selection of options, including hard boiled eggs, meats, cheeses, quiche. The staff members were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable.

The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the beautiful lobby decorated for the Holidays. The breakfast spread was delicious, and the daily cookie/cake display was a delightful treat. The location of this hotel is perfect, close to everything on the calm end of Duval street, yet near the action. I loved relaxing by the small heated outdoor pool and enjoying the peacefulness of the inner courtyard.

The Avalon was a delightful stay. The extra special touches like freshly baked cookies and homemade iced tea added a personal and welcoming touch. The continental breakfast on the veranda was lovely. The beds were comfortable, and the hosts were personable and thoughtful. The location was fantastic, just two blocks from the southernmost point and a short walk to the beach. It was close enough to the heart of the town, yet offered a serene oasis away from the hub.

Location: the hotel was located in an iconic town and had a great location. It was situated at the quieter end of the main street, making it a peaceful place to stay. Room amenities: the room was fabulous and had many lovely touches. the fragrant toiletries provided were a nice touch and added to the overall experience. Additional advantage: the hotel offered convenient parking arrangements with a nearby scooter garage. It was reasonably priced at $20 for 24 hours, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.

Parking situation: Finding street parking during the afternoon was quite hard and inconvenient. Although there was a parking lot right across the street, it came with an additional fee of $20 per day.

Delightful location on Duval St. across from the Butterfly Pavilion. Easy walk to Mallory Square, Hemingway House, lighthouse, etc. Exceptional staff, with Yvonne being sweet, helpful, and hospitable. Rooms are delightful with a divine bed and good quality linens. Spacious front porch and yard to relax. Keurig coffee maker and ample breakfast options. Umbrellas and rain ponchos available. Fabulous location near all the attractions.

We had a great stay here in the heart of town. The location was perfect in a peaceful area, yet so close to all the action on the main street. Our room was nicely furnished with great amenities, including air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. We especially enjoyed the breakfast served on the outdoor dining area and the staff was very accommodating to our requests. The leisure swimming pool was perfect for a morning dip before we headed out to explore the town.

Quiet end of Duval allows for a good night's sleep. Excellent breakfast with a variety of delicious options. Friendly and helpful staff.
