The view from my patio at Back Bay Inn was absolutely breathtaking. I loved waking up to the serene scene of the still water, watching locals quietly paddle away into the bay. The room was beautifully decorated and clean, making me feel right at home. The grounds were well kept and the gardens were simply stunning. I also enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfast, which had a surprisingly wide variety of options. I had a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem during our road trip and stayed for a couple of nights. The customer service was top-notch, especially from Sue, and the cottage exceeded our expectations in terms of size. The sun room was a pleasant surprise and added to the spaciousness. The free breakfast was fantastic, and we appreciated being able to leave a tip on our card. Highly recommended for a peaceful and picturesque getaway.

The hotel also had excellent facilities, including a restaurant and a cafe where I enjoyed delicious meals. The daily wine hour at 5pm was a wonderful touch, allowing me to socialize with interesting people from all over the country. this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, facilities, location, and staff.

The peaceful bay setting with a lawn and flower garden created a serene atmosphere. Our room faced the water, and we enjoyed the calm and tranquility it provided. The location exceeded our expectations, and we loved the nearby Blue Heron Restaurant for happy hour and dinner. The breakfast at the adjacent cafe was delicious, and the thick brick walls made our room very quiet. a lovely stay.

Stayed at this lovely inn for a couple of nights to explore Morro Bay, Hearst Castle, and the nearby sea elephants. The location on the water of Back Bay was perfect, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and breakfast at the Back Bay cafe was delicious. If you're looking for a tranquil getaway, this is the place. The room was spacious and well-insulated, and the grounds were beautiful and well-maintained. Will definitely return.

Our stay at Back Bay Inn was everything we hoped for and more. The serene and beautiful location provided the perfect getaway from our busy lives. The ever-changing views of the bay, from foggy mornings to stunning sunsets, created a calming atmosphere. We especially loved the spacious room, complete with a romantic fireplace. The included breakfast at the Bay Back Cafe was delicious, and the coffee was the best we've had on any trip. we would happily return to Back Bay Inn for another peaceful and rejuvenating stay.

Although not the fault of the Inn, the sheets caused a rash for those with sensitive skin. Additionally, we found the towel racks near the tub/shower area to be too small, making it inconvenient to use and store towels.

The local cafe next door served delicious breakfast options. Although we didn't get a chance to try it, the Blue Heron restaurant is now open and serves fantastic food with great service. Another wonderful aspect of our stay was the proximity to Montana de Oro park, perfect for hiking. We highly recommend bringing a paddleboard, kayak, or canoe to fully enjoy the bay. The staff was accommodating, knowledgeable, and gracious.

The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants, shops, wine country, and outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking.
