Great pool and clean rooms. Check-in process took too long.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Regency for a few days during a visit to this charming coastal town. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the entire property was well-maintained and clean. The pool and jacuzzi were a great way to relax, and despite the rainy weather, we still had a wonderful time. The hotel also offers convenient shuttle service to downtown, a delicious breakfast buffet, and a tiki bar by the pool with excellent waiter service.

I strongly recommend this hotel.

The decorations in the hotel's common areas were absolutely charming, with lovely coastal touches that made me feel like I was truly in Maine. The accessibility for senior people was excellent, with easy ramps, wide hallways, and comfortable seating areas throughout the property. The outdoor area facing Frenchman Bay was simply breathtaking, and I loved being able to sit and enjoy the view without feeling rushed.

The only thing I would ask for to make it a better vacation for senior people is for the children of the staff to be a bit more attentive and understanding of the needs of older guests.

The stunning vista overlooking the marina and the dazzling blue water of Frenchman's Bay was breathtaking. It felt like being in a serene Italian coastal village, with the added bonus of a sunset cruise filled with fun music and plenty of drinks to go around. The ambience was truly remarkable.

Conveniently located between Acadia National Park and downtown, this hotel offers breathtaking ocean views, great staff at the on-site restaurants, and a generous poolside area complete with a tiki bar, musical entertainment. Ample parking and a beautifully clean bathroom added to an overall fantastic experience.

Close to national park entrance and harbor with beautiful views. Great location to town. Facilities and beds are good. Hotel actively communicates via text. Would love to return.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the hotel facilities, including the pool and whirlpool, were top-notch. The location was ideal, close enough to downtown to explore all the shops and restaurants, but also far enough away to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. The views from the restaurant overlooking the bay were breathtaking. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that our needs were met throughout our stay.

Located near the ocean, this hotel offers stunning views of the harbor and the surrounding area. The hotel offers great water facilities and activities such as a pool, hot tub, and tennis courts. Additionally, it is within close proximity to many attractions in the area, including Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with great amenities like a fridge and Keurig. Breakfast was included and delicious!

Although there were some issues with service, the overall experience at the hotel was positive.

We had a late check-in, but the staff at Holiday Inn greeted us warmly and quickly checked us into our room. We were delighted with our King Size bed and ocean view. The complex had friendly and welcoming staff, and we enjoyed exploring the grounds. Despite the unexpected arrival of a group of little leaguers, the kids were well-behaved and we had no issues. The room itself was very good, and the views were truly breathtaking. we had a great experience at Holiday Inn Bar Harbor Regency Hotel.

We had an issue with our room allocation upon arrival, but the reception staff was very nice about it and moved us into the main building. However, we were given a smaller Queen room instead of the larger King room we had paid for.

Perfect location, beautiful grounds, delicious pizza at the on-site restaurant, pet-friendly, attractive property on Frenchman Bay, spacious and well-maintained rooms.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

As women traveling alone, we loved the convenient shuttle service to the nearby shops, the nice pool with a tiki bar, and the tasty restaurant options both inside the hotel and near the bay.

Felt like part of the family, no complaints whatsoever.

Best aspects of our stay were the spacious room and comfortable bed. the location of the hotel was also great, with beautiful views of the bay. We also enjoyed the amenities, such as the outdoor pool and exercise room.

Worst aspects of our stay were the lack of information provided in the room, including no hotel directory, room service menu, or TV channel guide. We also had difficulty figuring out the TV channels.

The ocean view from our room was stunning, especially during the Christmas season. It was a special treat to wake up to the beautiful scenery every morning. the heated pool and Jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who made our stay even better.

The room could use some updating as it felt a bit outdated. the shared balcony was quite small and only had one plastic chair, which limited our outdoor seating options.

The location, just a short drive from the downtown area, provided us with good walking trails in the area that were perfect for exploring with our children. Additionally, the sunset cruise offered breathtaking sights from the sea, lively music, and an abundance of drinks for everyone to enjoy.

My kids wished for more kid-friendly activities on the hotel premises.

I chose this hotel for attending a congress, and it provided the perfect setting for a business conference with its convenient location near Bar Harbor. The staff were friendly and professional, and the breakfast overlooking the bay was a great start to the day.

The one service that was missed for work was a reliable and strong WiFi connection in the room to ensure seamless communication and productivity during the business trip.
