A hidden gem

We stumbled upon Bay Leaf Cottages & Bistro on a rainy night, desperately looking for a place to stay. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the room was cozy and clean. Although small, the cabin-style room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast choices were plentiful and fresh, especially the Nutella that my wife couldn't resist. We can't wait to stay here again on our next trip up the coast. Highly recommended.

The grounds were beautifully maintained and the cottage I stayed in was spotlessly clean. The location was great, with the ocean just across the street in a private area. The nearby town and surrounding small towns were adorable, and the hotel's pet-friendly policy and helpful dog package were a big plus. The breakfast at Bay Leaf Cottages & Bistro was absolutely delicious. The fresh food and excellent coffee really hit the spot. The location of the cottages is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway. We loved using our lobster vouchers to pick up fresh and tasty lobster from the nearby place. The included bicycle deal was a great bonus and we had a lovely ride through the charming town. The lake/pond in front of the property added to the picturesque atmosphere.

The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. the view from our room was beautiful, with a serene landscape and a glimpse of the water. the room itself was nicely decorated and clean, adding to the charm of our stay.

The space of the room was very small. It felt cramped and tight, making it difficult to move around comfortably.

Mind-blown by the excellent breakfast, super stocked and fresh, and the staff were jaw-droppingly attentive. The small deck was perfect for enjoying the beautiful day. The grounds were cute and well-maintained, and the cottage was clean and cozy. Free wi-fi, car park, and pet-friendly.

I had a cozy and charming stay at a small roadside cottage with vintage decor. The lack of TV was no issue with the fast WiFi, and the cottage was clean and quiet. The staff was helpful and the location was pleasant. I would recommend this quaint and understated retreat.

They made sure everything was perfect, and we couldn't have asked for more. the small deck outside the cottage was a great place to relax and enjoy the lovely weather. the grounds were also well-maintained, and there was even a dogwalk at the back. it was a fantastic experience, especially for families with young kids.

We recently stayed at Bay Leaf in Lincolnville for a weekend getaway. The breakfast exceeded our expectations - well stocked, fresh, and the staff was attentive. The small deck provided a beautiful spot to enjoy the day, and the staff throughout our stay were friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. We were especially impressed with their dog-friendly amenities, including a dog run and welcome bag. Bay Leaf is a gem in terms of service and accommodations.
