oh, where do I even start? the pool was so pungently chlorinated that I thought I was at a pool chemical plant, not a hotel! and don’t get me started on the totally laughable ‘breakfast’—a sad paper sack with snacks, seriously! I also expected to at least get a complimentary upgrade, but no such luck. disappointed.

The rooms at Baymont Inn & Suites were clean and comfortable, with nice amenities like a microwave and fridge. However, the breakfast options were disappointing, with limited choices, and the pool experience was marred by rowdy families. Ideal for a short visit, but might not satisfy those looking for a full-service hotel experience.

Comfy rooms and great service!

Stayed for a night and was impressed! The staff were super friendly, checking in on me to see if I needed anything. The room was cozy and clean. I loved that there were plenty of good food places nearby. Just wish the breakfast had a bit more variety, but the grab-and-go snacks did the trick!

Request a room on the upper floors to avoid excessive noise and potential humidity from the first level.

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience during my stay. The cleanliness of the room was subpar, as I noticed trash and dust in several corners. One of the highlights, breakfast, left much to be desired. I expected much more than just a couple of snacks in a paper bag. Additionally, the hallway temperature was uncomfortably warm, which made navigating the hotel less pleasant than I had hoped.

I discovered some great local eats nearby, which made the trip worthwhile! The beds were pretty comfortable, and though the breakfast was just grab bags with donuts, it hit the spot for a quick start. Plus, the AC unit worked perfectly to cool things down after a hot day out.

Unfortunately, the whole hotel reeked of something funky and the bathroom was less than pleasant, not to mention the dead bugs and sticky nightstand. I really wanted to love this place, but the freezing cold indoor pool and noisy beds left much to be desired.

After a long drive, we arrived around 10 PM. The hallways felt like a sauna, and when we got to our room, the beds were filthy, with no clean sheets. They moved us to another room, but it was incredibly cramped and uncomfortable. The breakfast consisted of a sad paper sack with only snacks, and to make matters worse, we noticed bedbugs in our second room. Absolutely appalled by this experience!

the location was pretty good, close to the outlet malls and had some 24-hour restaurants which is cool. the pool was decent too, covered so u can swim without frying in the sun. rooms were big and had good stuff like microwaves and fridges. i really liked how friendly the front desk was, made check-in easy. overall, not a bad place for the price if u just need a spot to crash.

but the beds were kinda noisy and breakfast was just basic stuff, not really worth getting excited about.

I loved the recent updates in the bathroom. everything felt fresh and inviting! The Queen Room provided ample storage for our family gear, helping us feel organized during our stay. Plus, the indoor pool was a delightful perk for some good family fun after a day of exploring!

great location right across from the outlet stores. breakfast included grab-and-go options like pastries and granola bars. the indoor pool area is clean and pleasant for a quick dip.

Decent stay for the price

I was pleasantly surprised! The room was comfy and clean. The bathtub had a bit of a need for repair but nothing too crazy. They had nice grab-and-go breakfast bags with some tasty treats. A bit noisy from outside sometimes, but overall solid choice in San Marcos.
