The cabins have small kitchenettes and gorgeous porch views at dawn. The bathroom had convenient soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers. The beds are traditional spring mattresses, great for your back. Far cheaper than two hotel rooms. Friendly owner and everything you need in your stay.

Our stay at Bear Lodge was incredible. The location was perfect, tucked away in a small campground surrounded by nature. The cabin was fully stocked, clean, and comfortable, exceeding our expectations. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and even a BBQ. The beds were comfortable, although if you're taller than 6 feet, you might want to consider sleeping in the loft. The setting was beautiful, and we even spotted deer wandering around. We wished we could have stayed longer to explore the nearby hiking trails. I highly recommend Bear Lodge for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Had a great Xmas stay at this cabin in a scenic mountain location. the views were amazing, especially of the nearby mountains. Saw wildlife like deer and cows passing through the property. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding Wild West towns and attractions. the facilities were good with unexpected WiFi connectivity.

The cabin had limited space, especially for tall guests. the cleanliness was lacking, with dirty doors, carpets, and dusty lamps.

We had a fantastic stay at Bear Lodge in Sundance! The cabins were spacious and well-appointed, with a fully stocked kitchen and clean, tidy bathrooms. The host, Matt, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We loved the access to the grill and picnic benches, perfect for enjoying the stunning night sky. The location was ideal for exploring Devils Tower and the Black Hills. Bear Lodge exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay here again.

Our family loved the tiny house, perfect for two older teenagers. The well-decorated cabin with its own porch provided a relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the great view from the front porch and were impressed by the state-of-the-art heating and AC system. The kitchen facilities, microwave, and refrigerator were a bonus. Loved the town with its charming supermarket and local eateries. Great little small town!

Rushmore and Custer State Park within driving distance.

There were a few downsides to our stay. the bed sheets in the cabin were too big, and the mattress cover was slippery, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
